So I picked up this book off of amazon because it was a freebie and also because NO ONE has rated it on either Amazon.com or Goodreads.com.I felt as a reader it was something that I had to read.
Let me just say that this book is a very cute romance. The characters are written well, however, the backgrounds of the characters are very simple and to the point. Same as the story.
Reading through the story it felt as though it was a rough draft. The characters and the plots need to be developed more in depth. Also, the POV changed too much too quick from paragraph to paragraph. It would have been better if the author had done full chapters of the characters POV and then switched to the next. With a little bit more development the author could have a very good novel on her hands.
I feel as though with another read through and editing session of the book by the author that this book would have been a 5 star story. There are still a lot of grammatical errors and missing words/off sentences that could have been taken care of with a quick editing session.
However, for the short story that it is, Lily Zante created a great story of business Love/friendship.

I love the story line and the characters. There was a lot of grammar mistakes making it hard to figure the word out at times but all in all, a good book. Enjoyable, difficult to put down. I would also like to add that this is a clean book, not any sex scenes as in so many books nowadays.
Cute story but needs an editor/proof reader BADLY! All throughout the book, dialogue and character POV all rolled in together and there was no sentence/paragraph differentiation. It made the story difficult to follow.
It was also frustrating reading how the two characters danced around one another and misconstrued soooo many interactions, it went beyond pleasurable.
It was an ok read.
Lily Zante's books are growing on me. "Love, Ic" was a fluffy read - cute, no overthinking, and quick. I liked The Perfect Match series better, but this was still a pretty good book to round out my vacation with.
The idea behind it was good. However the mistakes were so painful, I found it hard to enjoy. Often times I do come across editing/grammar mistakes and simply move on, but the shear volume of errors here was impossible to ignore. The concept was interesting enough as a light contemporary romance but the author failed to provide. My advice to the author would be to keep up the work, there is talent there, but please get an editor immediately!!! There is definitely potential, but luckily I got this one free because I would have been more than annoyed if I had paid for this first draft.
Wayne, business owner, with no time for a private life, needed a temp worker while the main girl was on maternity leave.
Lexi, an out of her apartment business owner, needed extra work until her business started paying for itself.
So working through a temp agency, Lexi was sent to Wayne's office. She turned out to be what the company needed all along. She was also the perfect companion for the boss. If only they would both acknowledge it to one another.
This was a very good Story, both Wayne & Lexi were strong characters, that were more than the original descriptions were.Lily Zante you gave a story that was great to read & ended with a perfect ending. You did it again Thank You.
I liked the story. He owns a small company and she comes in as temp to help out for a short period of time. They clash right off the bat. She is use to working with CEO's of big companies so she looks the part. He thinks she is a snob, etc. However, she turns out to be a lifesaver and knows her stuff.
I thought the story line was good and I liked the characters. I had problems with some of the writing. I thought it was a big childish for the age of the characters. Some things I didn't get, for example...he gets a pay RISE. Is this just misspelled? I saw it in a couple of places. It was a good story line and I enjoyed it, so I would recommend it.
